    The GMC Acadia has two powertrain options to choose from, both with Stop-Start Engine Control System. The first is the standard four-cylinder engine with a six-speed transmission that gets an EPA estimated 21 MPG city. For drivers who want a little more power, upgrade to the available 3.6-liter V6 engine with Active Fuel Management and 310 horsepower. The Acadia's V6 engine provides enough power to tow up to 4,000 lbs. which is perfect for a smaller camper or boat for a weekend camping adventure. Traction Select allows drivers to switch between five different driving modes for various road conditions.

        Starting at the SLE-2 trim and above, you have your choice in seat configurations, with either a two-row, five-passenger option, a three-row, six-passenger option, or the three-row, seven-passenger option.           GMC Acadia Trim Levels

          Circle Buick GMC customers who are considering the versatile GMC Acadia have their choice of four main trim levels, a few different sub-trims, three seating configurations, two engines, and the choice of either all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive. The SLT-1 adds leather upholstery to your crossover, and every trim after that comes with it as well. While no trim level includes a sunroof standard, a two-panel sunroof can be added as an option starting with the SLE-2. The various options include:

          GMC Acadia SL

          While this entry-level trim is a custom-order that you'd have to wait for, it does have a nice roster of features if you choose it. It comes as a three-row vehicle with seating for seven people, and it's only available in front-wheel drive. Amenities include heated mirrors, rearview camera, keyless ignition and entry, tri-zone automatic climate control, smartphone integration, and GMC's signature safety features for teen drivers.

            GMC Acadia SLE

            The SLE can be further broken down to the SLE-1 and SLE-2. Ordered as the SLE-1, the Acadia comes with all the same features as the SL, plus it adds LED running lights and satellite radio. The SLE-2, meanwhile, adds foglights, a power-operated liftgate, remote engine start, and heated front seats. For seating, the SLE-2 comes standard with a set of second-row captain's chairs that reduce overall seating to six, although a bench-style seat is available as an option if you want to keep seating for seven.

              GMC Acadia SLT

              Like the SLE before it, the SLT can be further broken down to SLT-1 and SLT-2 levels. The SLT-1 model adds an automatically dimming rearview mirror, an upgraded audio system, a blind spot monitor, and a set of parking sensors in the rear. The SLT-2 also builds on earlier models, adding a more-powerful engine, as well as a lane departure warning system, frontal collision warning, and automatic high beam control.
